Based on the military Wintergewitter operation, this album is cold. Cold as the weather in December 1942, near Stalingrad, when german troops fell in the snow and ice, with only little salute in sight. Wintergewitter plays cold and extreme Black Metal in the great tradition, this album has been written between 2003 and 2007, recorded in 2008, a spirit stuck in 1942, hence it doesn't sound 2010, this album is timeless.
